IBM releases new API Tester with REST XAPI support and a host of features

A new, smarter API Tester with support for REST XAPI invocation and host of other useful features has been introduced with 9.5-Foundation Fix Pack 2 onwards. The same is also available now in 9.4, with Foundation Fix Pack 16 onwards. More details below -

Features :

• Separate UI panel for REST XAPI calls for json, xml formats with support for both GET and POST requests.
• Support for tracing on need basis, for individual API invocations
• No reloading of screen or switching back and forth between API calls, with embedded AJAX support.
• Fetches the default API output template with one click.
• Maintains history of last 10 API invocations, allowing repetitive test jobs to be done with much ease.
• Save and Download invoked APIs data as text files.
• Support for version specific API invocation.
• A quick link to access javadocs (provided smcfsdocs is deployed).

                Set -Ddevmode=Y while building EAR or WAR

(same as old HTTP API Tester)
