Abstract
When I start IBM Control Center when can I know when Cognos is up and I can run reports.
Body
Sometimes when you start IBM Control Center you may go to the Java Console and attempt to run report.
You may receive an error because Cognos has not completely started.
To ensure Cognos has started and is ready to run reports look for the following:
"Successfully connected to the Cognos BI Server!" in CognosReportService.log before trying to run reports
