Locating the ikeyman tools

Abstract

Locating the ikeyman tools

Body

The ikeyman tools are located in the <SSP>/jre/bin and <SSPcm>/jre/bin directories.  They are called ikeyman (GUI) and ikeycmd (command line).

Many users perform the certifiate management functions from their desktops or laptops that may have different operating systems from the systems they administer.  For example, they may maintain Sterling Secure Proxy servers on an AIX machine but their local workstation where they do their day to day work is a Windows box.  In this case you will need to download the IBM JRE for that platform and you will find the ikeyman tools in the resulting <JRE>/bin directory.

Currently, the ikeyman tools are distributed with the JRE.  There are a few JRE independent downloads for the different products:

The current JRE for AIX and Linux can be downloaded here:
http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/java/jdk/

The windows version of the JRE is available in the "IBM Development Package for Eclipse" and can be downloaded here:
http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/java/jdk/eclipse/
In this version the tools are called ikeyman.exe and ikeycmd.exe and are located in the following directory:
/eclipseDevelopmentPackage/ibm_sdk71/jre/bin/
