How to Configure IBM Control Center to Authenticate to External Users Located on a LDAP Server

In this document I will demonstrate how to perform a simple default configuration on adding a new Connect:Direct node to manage using IBM Control Center. When selecting a user id to connect to the Connect:Direct Server it will be transparent whether the id is local or external. The major advantage of using external LDAP user accounts is this gives the system administrator a central location in which to administer those accounts.
