Abstract

Connect:Direct for HP NonStop on NonStop X platform

There has been increasing interest for a publication of C:D HP NonStop for the new NonStop X platform (x86 architecture), running the L-Series NonStop OS.

There is now an installation kit - Fix Pack 3.6.0.1 - for the NonStop X platform available on Fix Central (http://www.ibm.com/support/fixcentral/):  3.6.0.1-SterlingConnectDirectforHPNonStop-x86-fp0001

Though labeled as a fix pack, it contains a complete GA installation package.  It is identical in functionality to the current Itanium (I64) application, and is current as of the most recent iFix (030) published for C:D HP NonStop on the Itanium platforms.

Future iFixes and fix packs will contain updates for both the Itanium and NonStop X platforms.  (Support for C:D on the MIPS platform ended December 2015.)
