Abstract

Are you Upgrading from IBM Sterling B2B Integrator(SBI) 5.2.4.0 to 5.2.6.2 ? Here are some important points to note.

Body

1. Take a back up of the SBI 5.2.4.0 Database and the File System.

2. For upgrade from SBI 5.2.4.0 to 5.2.6.2, the JDK and JCE has to be upgraded using updateJavaSecurity command.  More information is available in the documentation link .

3. After the command is successful, validate the Java version explicitly using the " java -version" command from the SI_INSTALL\JDK\BIN directory

4. The Core_License.xml file referred to in the sandbox.cfg must actually be present in the specified path. Validate this explicitly.

5. Decide on which of the below methods to use to perform the upgrade.
