If you use mobile apps in your enterprise, then you'll need a way to manage the distribution of those applications. That's where IBM Worklight Application Center comes in.
IBM Worklight is an application platform designed to help you develop, deploy, and manage mobile applications. Worklight Application Center is one component of that platform. It's an enterprise app store, providing a central repository of mobile apps for use within your enterprise. You can control who can access the app store, who can upload apps to it, and who can download and install apps from it. So it's similar to App Stores you are already familiar with (Apple App Store, Google Play) but designed specifically for your internal enterprise applications.
It is this topic that forms the basis of the newly published IBM Redpaper:
The Redpaper provides an overview of the Worklight Application Center functionality, then provides step-by-step guidance for installing, configuring, and using it. Rounding things out is a chapter on integrating Worklight Application Center with IBM Endpoint Manager for Mobile Devices.
In addition to the Redpaper, we've published two supporting blog posts summarizing the functionality:
And the authors put together this two minute video to show you exactly what Worklight Application Center can do.
