Qualification for zNALC is not as easy as you may think. The application must be, by IBM definition, a "Qualified Application", which is:a. Currently generally commercially available, runs under z/OS and also Unix, Linux, Solaris, HP-UX, or Windows;orb. Is a database server under z/OS operating solely to support the application (Lawson, PeopleSoft, or similar) running elsewhere;orc. Is a Java language business application under Websphere AS.<div>&nbsp;</div> In addition: "IBM will determine whether a particular program is a qualified application. In the event you want to check if an application will qualify, contact your IBM sales representative or IBM business partner."<div>&nbsp;</div> I've already had a cross platform application that fits one of these categories get shot down for zNALC.
