I get the thing about Evernote tags now - but I don't like it. If you put a hash / octothorpe (#) before a word in the body of the note it becomes an Evernote tag when you send to Evernote. But - and this is the killer for me - it leaves the octothorpe intact. <div>&nbsp;</div> (Of course other Markdown renderers leave the character there as well.) <div>&nbsp;</div> So this isn't very pretty and you'd have to favour the tagging function over the visual form.

And I've just stumbled across a neat app for iOS: makeSlides. It takes e.g. Markdown and creates Powerpoint slides, potentially to Dropbox. It also means I could use REXX on z/OS to create bullet slides. I suspect it's very limited in what kind of things it can make slides from - so needs some experimentation.

And I see they've just released an update for Note &amp; Share that does Preview... I'd been looking around for an iOS app that would do it.
