XSLT 2.0, XML Query and XPath 2.0 Are Proposed Recommendations
I have been busy on other things and have not yet managed to blog about the significant recent XML achievements over at W3C. A few days ago the W3C announced that XSLT 2.0, XML Query 1.0 and XPath 2.0 are now all Proposed Recommendations. Several of my colleagues and friends both inside and outside of IBM have worked very hard on these specifications and I congratulate them all (albeit a little bit belatedly) on this achievement. I think that these specifications will continue to improve the "toolbox" available to XML developers and people who provide/work with XML content.
