As expected, web basedapplications seem to keep getting richer and more sophisticated as more andmore people add more and more "Web 2.0-ness" to theirapplications. Several web based applications that I use regularlyhave recently been upgraded to include a lot more interactivefeatures in their user interfaces and generally look and feel betteras a result.
What's so interesting about the typesof upgrades being done is that in almost all cases all that is beingdone is to take full advantage of the facilities that have beenprovided by most web browsers (and web servers) for a long time now.Of course, I don't mean to trivialize the cool stuff people aredoing. Clearly a lot of hard work has gone into these upgrades and exploiting these features in many cases is not work for the feint hearted.
Anyway, I think it's great to see Webtechnology, most of it based on the standards that many of us haveworked on for the past many years, continuing to push the envelope!
