In response to: Using Lotus Symphony in my day jobI'm not sure if I have any specific hints or tips. For sure make certain to use Symphony 1.3 as it is a lot better than the 1,2 release. In general what I would say is try and keep an open mind and recognize that this is an evolution around a key standard (ODF). The "document editors" like Symphony and OpenOffice.org are all evolving and getting better each release. For sure, as with any software, you will find features you like and features you don't like. Hopefully over time, with feedback from people like ourselves, the open source community that is helping evolve the ODF ecosystem will be able to make great iterative enhancements. My only other tip is make sue of the support forums (the link is given on the Symphony "Home" tab) - there is some good discussion there. Hope this helps.
