I'm getting ready to go to the IBM Lotus Technical Forum 2006 in Karlsruhe, Germany on May 15-17. It looks like a nice town, and, I'm told, there are a large number of pubs per capita. I couldn't really verify that in my research on the web. I did find out that it's on the edge of the Black Forest and hugs the Rhine River. And there's a big castle, too, the Schloss Karlsruhe, and the streets radiate out from that like spokes on a wheel - cool!
Any recommendations on what to do after the conference? Is a trip to Strasbourg a good thing? What about vineyards?
Oh, yeah, the presentations... Maureen Leland and I will be giving the Workplace Designer Jumpstart on day one - that's the free day. We'll tell you about he other good stuff in our regular length Workplace Designer Intro, but you'll have to pay the conf. fee for that -> plus, we'll be in the onsite labs (kind of like Lotusphere Meet the Developers). Maureen is also reprising her Domino Designer 7 preso, and I branch out into Portlets for Domino options.
See you there, hopefully!
See you at DNUG in Karlsruhe
