Expert Advice: InfoSphere Streams ODBCDBG Failed to set isolation level If you receive "ODBCDBG Failed to set isolation level" when trying to connect InfoSphere Streams to an Oracle database. This problem occurs because the Streams default isolation level for the query element is "READ_UNCOMMITTED". Oracle does not support this isolation level. Use "READ_COMMITTED" instead. During crash recovery, if many load operations have to be replayed, then it might take a long time to complete. The load operation will keep the pending operations in transaction logs no matter if it is recoverable load or non-recoverable.
