Nearing the Final Fix date for Netezza Platform Software version 7.0.2 & 7.0.4

PureData System for Analytics (PDA), Netezza Platform Software (NPS) will be ending patch support for the maintenance releases v7.0.2 and v7.0.4 on December 31, 2015. This means that no more fixpacks or patches will be created for 7.0.2 or 7.0.4 after December 31, 2015.
The last regularly scheduled quarterly Fixpack (184.108.40.206 & 220.127.116.11) will be posted to Fix Central on or before June 30, 2015 Additional patches or fixpacks will be created on an as needed basis for the remaining 6 months of patch support.
What does this mean?
You may still open PMRs for NPS versions 7.0.2 & 7.0.4 after December 31, 2015. However, should you encounter a new bug or issue, any code changes made to address your bug/issue will only be applied to the supported releases of NPS, version 7.1.x and higher. This means you will need to upgrade your database in order to get the fixed code.
