Abstract:
Access to data in mainframe files is on the rise and poses tricky challenges to extract this critical data.  The Complex Flat File stage is a file stage designed to process complex EBCDIC and ASCII files and data types.  Join this session to learn best practices and view a demonstration of techniques used to overcome a variety of file format challenges.

Speaker Bio:
Marcia Stewart has been working in the IT arena for over 26 years, and has been a Support Engineer with the IBM support organization for the last 10 years. She works with customers and other support engineers resolving complex problems. Her experience covers many components of InfoSphere Information Server Suite, including DataStage, Asset Manager, Information Analyzer and Governance solutions.
