Abstract:
This presentation will discuss how to leverage and configure SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) authentication. SSL authentication is configurable at version 8.5 and later. Beginning at version 11.3 SSL authentication is mandatory and all remote EJB communication has been replaced by HTTPS. Learn how to configure your installation to leverage secure communication. You will have an opportunity to ask questions during our Q&A session at the end of the presentation.

Speaker Bio:
Scott Brokaw began his career with IBM and InfoSphere Information Server immediately after graduation from Providence College. Scott is currently a technical team lead in the support organization and is responsible for assisting other support engineers in resolving complex issues and escalations. He is a subject matter expert in the area of authentication in Information Server, PureData for Analytics (Netezza) Connectivity, and Source Control integration. He has written several IBM Education Assistant modules on various topics including using PAM authentication with DataStage.
