Hi everyone,

Our next Support Technical Exchange will take place on July 21 covering the topic: Performance Tuning with Information Server DataStage Parallel Jobs. We hope you will join us for this FREE education session.

 

Abstract:
During this Support Technical Exchange, you will learn how to improve performance tuning with DataStage parallel jobs. We will review best practices for developing parallel jobs and then discuss resources that will help with performance tuning, including how to read the APT_DUMP_SCORE report, using NMON to analyze AIX and Linux performance, and common performance issues and how to resolve those issues. This will help you understand DataStage parallel job performance and provide a foundation to analyze and improve performance.

Speaker:
Steve Wilkos is a Senior Software Engineer at IBM and has been providing support for DataStage since DataStage was developed at Ascential Software. Steve is a subject matter expert in Information Server DataStage job performance. His IBM Education Assistant modules include Troubleshooting Information Server DataStage Project
Creation issues.
