Abstract

"CATALOG STORAGE ACCESS" is only supported under Linux only

As written in the following KC link, "CATALOG STORAGE ACCESS" is only supported under linux only.

 

If you use this command in AIX, you will see the successful message but if you run list storage access, you won't see any output.
 
 
$ db2 catalog storage access alias xxxxx vendor s3 server <server> user <user> password <password> container <container>
 
DB20000I The CATALOG STORAGE ACCESS command completed successfully.
 
 
$ db2 list storage access 
 
Node Directory 
 
Number of entries in the directory = 0 
 
DB20000I The LIST STORAGE ACCESS command completed successfully.
 
 
We publish this document since some customers requested about the STORAGE ACCESS with AIX. Currently it's not supported with AIX. For more update, please check the Knowledge center link above.
