So, what's the problem? Search engines don't handle "-" very well at all. Google documents this under "Terms you want to exclude (-)" If you want to search for -25596, and you put that into a search engine which uses "-" to exclude, the engine will return everything EXCEPT things with 25596. Dash it all !!! What can a person do? Fortunately, there's a helpful quote - " - well, quotation mark, anyway. If you need to find something that should have a "-" in it, use quotation marks to show the search engine that you really want it. Examples: SQLCODE "-930" Error "-25596" "db2set -all" If you think that you can't search for that element with a hyphen, that's Balderdash!
