The Summer 2017 SHARE Conference was a great educational event! Five speakers from the Enterprise Networking Solutions organization presented 18 sessions on z/OS Communications Server and 3 on ISPF, including two-part hands-on labs for the IBM Configuration Assistant for z/OS CS, and the ISPF editor. We also participated in a panel session where our attendees brought in a number of great questions for discussion (and we provided a few of our own).
Given the recent availability announcement of z/OS V2R3, we were able to provide a look at the CS and ISPF changes planned for z/OS V2R3, including functions like the new z/OS Encryption Readiness Technology (zERT). And of course, there was plenty of discussion of already available functions like Shared Memory Communications-Direct Memory Access (SMC-D), Enterprise Extender, sysplex technologies, network security, z/OS CS performance, and the IBM Configuration Assistant for z/OS CS. We would like to thank all of you who attended our sessions for the great feedback and dialogue.

Please plan to join us for the Winter 2018 SHARE Conference in Sacramento, California, March 11-16, 2018.
