This is the first of 4 postings related to my first Android phone I did buy 4 months ago:
- myAndroid -- hardware
- myAndroid -- software
- myAndroid -- why rooting / programming
- myAndroid -- DataPower WebGUI
The biggest buying decision for my ZTE Blade Fashion TV was the unbeatable price/display resolution ratio:
Only 69€ for a provider contract free, new device with 800x480 display resolution (3.5 inch).
A black 4€ silicon case covers the complete backside.
The display gets protected by 2€ protective sheets.
A 5€ jogging phone case allows for carrying easily while running outside.
I did really like the keyboard of my previous cell phone.
Finally the 10€ Adapt ADK-100 Universal Bluetooth Black Keyboard completes the hardware side.
While the silicon case and jogging phone case are for other devices, they fit perfectly (took some investigations to find).
All (w/o jogging phone case) together (click for big photo):
The layout of the main screen is configurable, and looks completely different now
(background picture from last bicycle tour along river Neckar).
Here is a demonstration video for the same keyboard model for Apple IPad.
Today I did show this video to my youngest son, and he came back with his IPod Touch 5G.
The keyboard directly worked with his device, too (once I used it as keyboard for my Thinkpad laptop successfully).
