When using DataPower Probe sometimes a context is displayed as empty. although you know it is not.
Reason is that in DataPower Probe
All screenshots below are done for Firefox web broser, with Chrome browser it is similar.
OK, so lets take this very simple Transform stylesheet value.xsl:
So for input document "<a>1<b>2</b>3</a>" it returns just "123", see sample "curl" request and response returned:
With Probe enabled for the service we get this INPUT context ...
And the context information now is available in 0.xml.gz, 1.xml.gz, (2.xml.gz, ... if there are more contexts):
For the sample we have this:
As you can see the "real content" (123) is framed by serialized <wrap> element.

Only a small part of the display is used by Bluetooth menue now (click for 800x480 display):
Of course a bigger display (7 or 10 inch tablet) would be better.

I did not want to remove the bootanimation, just do not start it.
"service bootanim /system/bin/bootanimation" in /init.rc starts the animation.
First I tried to comment out that line, but had to learn that the firmware wrote
I created my first "Hello world" application following these instructions.
While the above was a Java program, I created an Android version of "tidy"
Also Eclipse Android SDK seems to be worth to try.
And with kws - Android Web Server app you can do XSLT 2.0 in the Android browser

This is the second of 4 postings related to my first Android phone I did buy 4 months ago:
First I had to spend 12€ for Teksoft's BlueInput software needed to use the bluetooth keyboard.
The second software I had to pay 3€ for was Screenshot UX -- Android 2.2 does not have a Screenshot facility.
After NSA opened the archives up to 1996 I did store some Cryptolog publications.
Really cool feature of Aldiko reader is that it allows not only PDF and .epub format.
Deluxe Music Tuner is a free internet radio app.

Only 69€ for a provider contract free, new device with 800x480 display resolution (3.5 inch).
The display gets protected by 2€ protective sheets.
A 5€ jogging phone case allows for carrying easily while running outside.
I did really like the keyboard of my previous cell phone.
While the silicon case and jogging phone case are for other devices, they fit perfectly (took some investigations to find).
Today I did show this video to my youngest son, and he came back with his IPod Touch 5G.

Yesterday I gave a presentation at German DataPower Usergroup with title:
New programming paradigms in DataPower V6.0 with samples:
If you want to play with XQuery without V6.0 firmware you can download open source (XSLT 2.0 +)XQuery processor Saxon-HE 9.5:
Until now I used http://linux.die.net/man/1/hexedit tool to manipulate binary data files, eg. as Non-XML input for DataPower services.
Today I stumbled over an even simpler approach for small inputs that works under Linux and Cygwin under Windows.
Just use http://linux.die.net/man/1/echo command
This is not nice.
Blog migration has deleted all all uploaded images being used as inline images.
All syntax highlighted code listings (HTML files used in iframes) have been deleted, too.
No luck sofar searching google for deleted syntax highlighted HTML files sofar ...
107 (after I lost complete text content by repair work for the images --
Just to be sure that loss of images or other resources will never happen again -- store them on my private webserver and reference there from now on.
Just got notice that "missing file uploads for blogs is a known issue. The files are not permanently lost, and we are working to restore them. ...".
Today I got kind of a late Easter present -- my new (and first) XI52 box arrived at IBM Boeblingen lab
(I do have several 9004s, 9003s and even 9002s).
Sofar I was able to use two XI52s from Level 2 support department here at Boeblingen lab,
But I really like having my own ;-)
The palletized packet weight was 39kg -- I moved it to the data center on my movable office chair.
Finally I faced the biggest problem following step 8 of "Physically installing" section of "Quick Start Guide" ... ;-)
I have worked with many XI52s before, but never powered one on or off physically.
After powering on many messages got pumped through my serial console session until I finally saw the login prompt.
These are the only items not installed in data center -- no 10Gbit lines there and therefore no use of the two fiber optic connectors.
