ALM Office Hours Event - Extending your Rational ALM solutions to third-party tools with the IBM Rational HP Adapter
Extending your Rational ALM solutions to third-party tools with the IBM Rational HP Adapter
> Event Date/Time: Feb 8, 2013 from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM (Eastern Time) Hosted By: Fariz Saracevic (IBM) Presented By: Samuel Padgett (IBM) Dear ALM Community, Working in a business environment where tools from multiple vendors are deployed can be challenging. In particular, managing data between different parts of the business can become cumbersome and unwieldy. Last October IBM Rational announced the general availability of the Rational Lifecycle Integration Adapters Standard Edition which was created to help you solve this problem. Consisting of three integration adapters for HP ALM, JIRA, and Git, this offering opens up new ways for you to share data between tools from different vendors through the power of Open Services for Lifecycle Collaboration (OSLC). In this session, we will be focusing on the Rational OSLC Adapter for HP ALM which allows you to connect your HP ALM projects to CLM projects areas and provides traceability across HP, RRC, and RTC from both the Rational and HP UIs. If you are working with RRC, you can reconcile RRC requirement collections with HP ALM test folders to ensure test coverage of your requirements. In RTC, link failed test runs to work items in RTC, or link change sets in RTC to defects tracked in HP ALM. This discussion will be led by Samuel Padgett, IBM Rational and he will provide a short demo of the adapter and leave plenty of time for questions and discussion.
