... if you haven´t planned a budget for storage analysis at the moment.

... if you want to know more about the technical limits of your SVC or Storwize.
... if the word ‘Performance Bottleneck’ sounds very familiar to you.
We have developed a new type of scanner for BVQ and introduced it already to interested customers. The response was very enthusiastic and immediately there were a lot of requests for using this scanner now!
Why was this reaction so surprising for us? Actually at first we were surprised but later we realized the strengths of this product even better:
No installation required, runs in a few minutes, creates a simple data format.
The customer sends his data to us and we will reply with an easy-to-understand report.
This simple report gives an overview with just a single page, whether problems exist and where to find them.
In several cases we were able help the customer with some simple tips. In other cases we had to do deeper investigations. But in all cases we got a better understanding of the problems or solved them!

One more addition - articles like this are often used by other manufacturers as evidence that one or the other system has performance problems. This is dubious marketing because these kinds of problems may occur on any storage system from any manufacturer. The real difference is, that often there are not such sophisticated tools available to help, as for SVC and Storwize.
