I see Microsoft has kicked off its own influencer campaign. So far they've signed up the chief information and chief technology officers from 7 companies!
Microsoft's approach has often been to technically isolate its products to give it an advantage over competitors. This can include Microsoft business partners, as well! What is Microsoft doing to change this? According to this article, Microsoft is inviting eight people from around the world to come to Redmond twice a year to discuss interoperability issues. Wonder what effect this will really have on interoperability?
