You may also see this message if you remove a file from the VMR will it is still in use by a VIOC or by a process on the VIOS, such as scp. <div>&nbsp;</div> Don't ask me how I know this...... ;)

I recall hitting this "insufficient memory" error when I upgraded a VIO server a few months ago. It was a bit disconcerting, because I think I hit the error when running the ioslevel command, as well as a few other common commands. I thought the VIO server had been completely destroyed, but the mount of the file system fixed everything. <div>&nbsp;</div> Don't know why a simple "lsfs" command should report such a spurious error. I tried running the lsfs command on an AIX LPAR for an unmounted file system and it responded fine.
