TRIRIGA Reserve is one of the components of the integrated suite of IBM TRIRIGA Products.  Reserve adds capabilities to manage reservable spaces and equipment.

With TRIRIGA Reserve you can define Conference Rooms, Meeting Spaces, Vehicles or other Assets and apply business rules specific to their individual requirements and limitations.  Reserve has search capabilities to help find the best fit for a reservation(s) based on the requester’s role, preferred location, equipment and configuration requirements as well as the number of attendees. For spaces you can define setup and breakdown times, food services and equipment requirements.

Availability Calendars are used to define when a reservation is available using the limitations and rules for individual items. Limitations can be time of day, how long you can reserve an item, how far in advance you can reserve an item or if the item will not be available for a specific time.

Reserve also supports Mutually Exclusive spaces, or spaces that can be reconfigured to temporarily change the definition of space. A common use for Mutually Exclusive spaces is rooms with removable walls between meeting spaces to make them larger or smaller thus creating more or fewer physical spaces available for reservation.

Rules are defined to indicate how items can be reserved. Rules can define reservable without restriction, requestable, approval required, private spaces that must be reserved through a concierge, or recurring reservations on a given schedule.

TRIRIGA is second to none in reporting with usage and accounting reports to show resource utilization metrics as well as costs associated with reservations.

One powerful function of TRIRIGA Reserve is an interface to MS Outlook via an add-In that will allow users to utilize the MS Outlook calendar to reserve spaces in TRIRIGA and to see reservations made within TRIRIGA on their Outlook calendars without the need for access to the TRIRIGA application..
