Abstract

CAD Integrator - Upgrading from platform prior to 3.2.x to 3.3.x or later

Body

So, you recently upgraded your IBM TRIRIGA Platform only to find that you also need to upgrade CAD Integrator. You download the CAD Integrator software and install it. You start reading up on how the new functionality works and notice that you have to perform some configuration in TRIRIGA, but when you log into the application, you cannot find the navigation to be able to perform the configuration. You start wondering if you also need to do an application upgrade or at least get an OM package of some sort to complete the process.

If this has happened to you, you are not alone. The first step to the 3.3.x or later platforms can be scary enough, but this part of the process is more bark than it is bite. Below is a link to a wiki article which should be helpful in completing the setup of the items required to be able to work with the new CAD configuration objects in the IBM TRIRIGA application.
