How to overcome cryptographic related keys during exporting of cognos configuration in TCR

1. The below steps are valid only if suddenly working cognos(TCR) is throwing cryptographic related issues. I presume that it is working fine before.
2. If you are getting issues during exporting of cognos configuration and not able to save it successfully, this blog would help.
3. Please open the cognos configuration by invoking

TCR 2.x - <TCRComponenent_dir>/congos/bin/tcr_cogconfig.sh

TCR 2.1.1 64bit <TCRComponenent_dir>/congos/bin64/tcr_cogconfig.sh

               TCR 3.x - <JazzSM_Install>/reporting/cognos/bin64/tcr_cogconfig.sh

4.      Please note down all the values in text pad by navigation each values, for eg. Content store details, Email configuration details, all the values under Enviornment.

5.     Rename the current cogstartup.xml file in the ../cognos/configuration directory to

cogstartup_orig.xml and cogconfig.prefs file to cogconfig_orig.prefs

6.      Rename the three keystore directories under the ../cognos/configuration folder - csk, encryptkeypair, signkeypair to csk_orig,

encryptkeypair_orig, and signkeypair_orig

7.      Rename the <cognos install>/temp/cam/freshness file (if this exists)

8.      Rename the <cognos install>/configuration/caserial file (if it exists).

9.     Launch again cogons configuration tcr_cogconfig.sh

10.  Now refill the values noted down on step 4 in all the editable values.

 After filing up all the required values, please save the configuration and start the server
