What exactly is Watson Content Hub
IBM Watson Content Hub is a cloud-based content management system that implements a "Content as a Service" pattern. The system can store digital assets and structured content, which can be accessed via a rich API and published to the included Akamai Content Delivery Network capability. Customers can display content in single page applications (e.g. Angular or similar), mobile apps, or via pre-built integration with WebSphere Commerce and (to come in 2017) IBM Marketing Cloud.
IBM Content Hub on IBM Marketplace
On 15th November (yesterday) the IBM Watson Content Hub has finally been released on the IBM Marketplace. On this page you find the most relevant information about the offering and its current features. But the best way to get to know Watson Content Hub is exploring it by yourself.
To get started simply click on the “Free trial” button. Then you should be redirected to the pricing information. For a 30 days trial click the “Try Free” button and follow the instructions. If you already have an external IBMid use this by hitting the “Already have an IBMid” link. Otherwise follow the instructions on the page in order to create an IBMid. After a successful registration to the trial you should be redirected to the current status page of your request. Initially you should see the status “Preparing your order”. Once the on-boarding process is completed you should be able to hit the launch button which opens the Watson Content Hub for you. Be aware that the on-boarding might take a while.
Keep in mind that the trial is available once per IBMid, and that after the trial has expired your data will be removed after the trial expiry.
