Startups in India are building amazing stuffs and they ask awesome questions. One of my Watson customer which is a startup from Hyderabad(India) has asked a set of very interesting questions. With all my humbleness I will try to answer most of his queries in a generic way so that it can also help others who are also planning to build amazing customized chat-bots.
How do I design a custom user interface(add special buttons/text boxes etc) for my chatbot?
All your chat bot logic still lies in the workspace but you can use the above conversation API to call your specific Workspace. One can paas the workspaceid, user input and also maintain the context for each user using the conversation id.
How do I extract specific words from the user input in chat ?
In above sample, Watson intent identification confidence score was more than 92% so watson is most probably capable of replying this query.
In above sample the Watson intent identification confidence score was less than 60% so may be a manual intervention is a good idea here.
