My name is Craig Phipps and I am the IBM TRIRIGA L2 Customer Support manager. I am starting this blog as a mechanism to communicate and share information with the IBM TRIRIGA community.
In today's entry I want to share info about CAD Integrator (CI). IBM introduced the CI 12.x series in December 2012. One of the biggest changes with the 12.0 series is the ability to share work between CAD users. To make this happen much of the work that was previously contained on the CAD users local machine now resides at the server. Because of this, in order to use the new CI your system will have to also have the appropriate platform version in place. As of today the following versions are linked:
|CAD Integrator Version||Platform Version(s)|
|CI 12.0||Platform 3.3|
|CI 12.0.1||Platform 3.3.1 or 126.96.36.199|
If you have used older versions of the CAD Integrator product check out this document to see how you perform similar actions in the new 12.x series:
You will find this document has a lot of comparisons from the old CI mechanisms and the new ones and will go a long way to shortening the learning curve for those experienced CI users.
If you want to see what is new in the 12.0.1 release check out the new features here in Information Center:
I'm looking forward to using this venue to help clarify questions and communicate in general. Thanks for your attention. Until next time....
