The purpose of this presentation is to provide insight in simplifying the procedures that enable Tivoli Storage Manager (TSM) administrators in successfully integrating a Data Domain system. Kumar Kancharana will give an overview of TSM and walk over Piedmont Healthcare’s Backup Environment and explain how Piedmont Integrated DD as Storage Media, will explain configuration of VTL and NFS backups on Data Domain with live demonstration, this can ensure that the end-user is comfortable in implementing the integration without any problems.

since 2009, he has several years of TSM Admi
He has configured TDP for Oracle, TDP for IBM DB2, TDP SQL, TDP Exchange, TDP for Lotus Domino in addition to working on configuring TSM for HSM clients. Kumar has installed and configured TSM NDMP backups for NAS storage on VTL and Physical tape Libraries. He has excellent experience in configuring TSM LAN Free backups. Moreover, he is an expert in building TSM servers from scratch on AIX, Windows, and Z/Os & Linux platforms from scratch.
Furthermore, he has been actively involved in designing, planning, implementing and maintaining an Enterprise Backup and Recovery environment for customers within the user community of 10000+ clients.
