One minute performance monitoring interval samples and simplified Storage Resource agent deployment highlight IBM Tivoli Storage Productivity Center, V5.2.2!

There were more than a few enhancements to Tivoli Storage Productivity Center V5.2.2, but 1-minute performance data sample intervals and improved Storage Resource agent management functions definitely highlighted the list.
Tivoli Storage Productivity Center, V5.2.2 now provides 1-minute performance monitor intervals of storage systems and switches that provide you with more granularities in your performance monitoring charts. If the performance monitor collects sample data at 1-minute intervals, data is displayed as 1-minute intervals in the chart only when data is available for the entire time range being viewed. Note, however, that if data is not available at 1-minute intervals for any portion of the selected time range, the data is displayed in 5-minute intervals.

The web-based GUI enables you to add servers by deploying Storage Resource agents for full server monitoring.
You can use the GUI to add a server and deploy a Storage Resource agent or use an input file to deploy multiple servers:
1. In the navigation pane, click Server Resources > Servers.
For more information, see Addi
Bulk deployment of Storage Resource Agents from an input file makes monitoring a large configuration trivial. Simply provide the following information for each server:
If you happen to receive a deployment failed error, don't worry, it's easy to correct the information by running a Fix Deployment action.
For example, use the following steps to identify and fix Storage Resource agents that failed to deploy:
1. Use the Status column on the Servers page to identify the agents that failed to deploy. A status of Failed deployment indicates that an error occurred when the agent was deployed.
Tip: The Open Logs action is not available if you select multiple server rows. The Fix Deployment action is available if you select a single server row or multiple server rows.
3. Use the Fix Deployment action to change the deployment settings for the agents and deploy the agents again.
