Join Mark Hahn, an experienced IBM Level 2 Support Technician, as he explains how IBM Security zSecure 2.1 suite makes managing RACF easier. (For those who don't know, RACF is a perennial technology; the IBM Resource Access Control Facility provides access control and auditing functions for z/OS and z/VM mainframe systems.)
The frontline mainframe security expert explains why the new release of zSecure is all about the data; he highlights some of his favorite enhancements in the new 2.1 release of zSecure, including
- Additional IBM DB2 compliance analysis and reporting: The latest version will collect more information about DB2 data and create analysis based on an increased number of viewpoints.
- Better digital certificate management enhancement: More data that is related, but may not be visible together, in digital certificates will be collected and reported.
- Easier compliance reporting: A new interface and storage and standardization mechanisms will make it easier to create multiple and roll-your-own compliance standards.
