Server Extensions and Jython scripts. This paper covers all
types of discovery, including SNMP. A collection of scripts is proved

We have just published a new paper about the TADDM 7.2 Sensors and supported target systems , which is similar to the paper about the TADDM 7.2.1 Sensors and supported target systems that we published a few weeks ago. For future reference, the Sensors > Sensors and supported target systems category of the TADDM Wiki also includes links to these papers.
The document TADDM 7.2.1 Discovery Scan Report and Remediation for Computer Systems helps users to have a detailed view on how a given discovery scan performed: how many active computer systems exists in the scope and how many of them were fully discovered. Also BIRT reports are provided to generate those summary numbers and lists of failing computer systems. Those lists can be sent to the personnel responsible for solving the issues uncovered during the scans.

The document Sensors and supported target systems lists the IBM Tivoli Application Dependency Discovery Manager (TADDM) 7.2.1 sensors and the supported versions of target systems that they can discover. This information is more up-to-date than similar information in the TADDM 7.2.1 documentation that was published in April 2011.
In IBM Tivoli Application Dependency Discovery Manager (TADDM), you can trace the phases of discovery from when a discovery starts to when the change history is updated and the topology dependencies are built. Each phase of discovery is recorded in an associated log file. For a description of the discovery flow and its associated log files, see the technote “ Tracing a discovery ”.
Tivoli Business Service Manager 6.1 FP1 is an accumulative fix for TBSM 6.1. Among the enhancements is the Business Service Composer added to the Component Repository Viewer or crviewer . Import includes both discover library adapater files or books, and data and from the Tivoli Application Dependency Discovery Manager. The crviewer helps you locate, understand and organize configuration items (CI's) for Business Service Management and... [More]
