A successful deployment of TADDM is highly dependent on the success on the creation and maintenance of the the target machines credentials. Each organization has its own security policies that includes for example how often passwords need to be updated. Using the SSH Public Key Infrastructure in TADDM deployments can significantly simplify credential management of Linux and Unix machines.
This document gives a step by step description on how to implement such an infrastructure in environments with or without anchors. Also some information on how to maintain passphrases and to debug possible errors is also provided.
