Trying dozens of pairs of sunglasses to find out that my needs were not addressed is rather frustrating. The reward for all the pain and hardship is a pair that fits perfectly. What if I could tell the designers what I'm looking for and how close they are in making my dream come true? Well, that would make things easier. And that is where transparent development plays the leading role when it comes to IBM software.
From the customer perspective, the most challenging part is being engaged in the product long before it is released. You plan and invest your time to check what new features are offered, as well as share your thoughts on how the provided solution works for your business. If a feature does not address your needs, we get an opportunity to learn from your business case and still have time to improve such feature. We can also provide you with an alternative solution or take your opinion into account while planning the release. Certainly we will UNDERSTAND what you want and why it is important for you, and we will know for whom we work at the end of the day. Reward? The software that provides a solution to YOUR business.
Transparent Development program lets us transform to meet your expectations. Check this site for official company statement. And... hopefully, I will be able do something similar next time I want to buy a pair of sunglasses!
I'm eager to hear what experience you have with Transparent Development, IBM TADDM Beta code in particular. Share your story and ideas to make the program participation even easier, comments are more than welcome!
