Abstract

Cross Product Integration documentation is now available

Body

Cross Product Integration documentation has been created to assist those carrying out solution deployment and solution integration. The Cross Product Integration documentation uses a scenario based approach to explain possible solution integrations.

Cross Product Integration has a dedication Service Management Connect wiki that can be found here:

https://www.ibm.com/developerworks/community/wikis/home?lang=en#!/wiki/Cross%20Product%20Integration/page/Welcome%20to%20Cross%20Product%20Integration

The documentation contained on this wiki leverages the work carried out by solution test groups, such as, the Federated Integration Verification Test team. The net result is a solution focused documentation set that presents tried and tested solution deployment and solution integration scenario descriptions.

Some of the products covered by the Cross Product Integration documentation are:

  • IBM Tivoli Business Service Manager 6.1.1
  • IBM Tivoli Monitoring 6.3
  • IBM Tivoli Netcool Impact 6.1.1
  • IBM Tivoli Netcool OMNIbus 7.4
  • IBM Tivoli Application Dependency Discovery Manager 7.2.2
  • Jazz for Service Management 1.1

The purpose of the Cross Product Integration documentation is to:

  • Inform you about the possible integrations that are available for specific IBM products.
  • Point you to existing documentation covering tasks that must be carried out to integrate these products.
  • Document the required installation order for solution deployments.
  • Document the required integration tasks that may not be covered within the product-specific documentation.
