As many readers of this blog entry already know, Tivoli Business Service Manager (TBSM) is developing its upcoming release transparently. In doing so, the development team is providing access to its release plan, upcoming beta code, development sprint demos, and more. We are doing this to ensure clients and business partners have more impact on our development than ever before and, as a result, become part of our virtual development lab. That's why it is critical that we keep our clients and business partners up to speed with the most up to date developments with our plans, and why your feedback is so critical to ensuring we build the types of products that help you meet your business goals.
To improve the efficiency with which we collaborate with you on our development releases, we've automated our project planning tools to transfer data back and forth to Service Management Connect and RFE. So when the development team makes changes to a release plan and its supporting plan items internally, you quickly see those changes externally. And when you provide feedback on individual plan items, it is transferred to Rational Team Concert, our internal release planning tool. This gives you direct access to the developers writing the code.
