Service Level Objectives (SLO) Reporting solution enhanced in Netcool/Impact 7.1.0 Fixpack 3

The Service Level Objectives (SLO) Reporting solution has been enhanced in Fixpack 3 for Netcool/Impact 7.1.0. SLO Reporting is an optional feature of Netcool/Impact 7.1.0 that provides policies and schema files which you can use to store Service Level Metrics in a DB2® database. You can then use these metrics for reporting.

This solution has been enhanced in Fixpack 3 as follows:

  • Support has been added for a time zone specification in the SLA definitions that drive the solution

  • The sample policy that collects outage data from the TBSM Metric History database has been enhanced to detect and record active outages, making the report data more up-to-date

  • Miscellaneous bugs have been fixed

  • Extensive updates have been made to the documentation
