Looks like we've finally included broader fundamental Tivoli EIF rules file content for common IBM Tivoli products. You'll see our BSM Solution work take this concept even further in 2011 and beyond. We have made a global change to how we handle the EIF rules files for OMNIbus and for 8 other Tivoli products. Centralized configuration is a new addition to the autonomous agent capabilities in IBM Tivoli Monitoring. This new addition makes it simple to maintain configuration files for all of your autonomous agents. Prior to this capability, you had to place the configuration files manually on each agent in order to configure the autonomous agents. The memory usage of the web browser hosting the TBSM console client JVM
increases as the size of the business service model environment increases. If
the maximum Java™ heap size setting is too low, the JVM will spend a
significant amount of time performing garbage collection. This can result in
