First Global Enablement on the IBM WebSphere Cloudburst Appliance
SOPHIA Search are the first ISV globally to enable on the IBM Websphere Cloudburst Appliance. Sophia, a UKI BP, have been working closely with the local IDR team for 14 months and were identified by Steve Higgs, UKI Technology Manger and John Zucker, IIC Technical Consultant as potential candidates to go through with the enablement process.
Both the US team and the UKI team have worked in close cooperation to bring the process into sucessful completion. This was achieved at the start of 2011 when the application was validated by the team in the US following successful testing by company.
SOPHIA’s patented technology powers applications that discover and deliver information in new and better ways - enabling organisations to unlock value hidden deep within documents. Conventional approaches provide topically diverse lists mixed with many different contexts and expect the user to invest their personal time and effort to sift through it to find the information they need. Sophia automatically organises your content, dynamically discovering topics based on the meaning and context of the information
in the US and worldwide has chosen to implement SOPHIA's technology.
Ken McGaffin, CMO, WordTracker, has said that SOPHIA Search'
solution is one of the most powerful and efficient technologies they have
ever implemented. To read the full story, access the IDR EMEA TR> Notes Link
SOPHIA Search sucessful completion of the enablement will yield an advert in the Websphere Red Book and also publicity through developerWorks, various magazines and website, together with the GSD and the Global Entrepreneur directory.
