C-B4 wins IBM Global Entrepreneur Startup SmartCamp Tel Aviv Israel
IBM yesterday named C-B4 Context Based 4Casting the
winner of 2011 SmartCamp Tel-Aviv, it's global competition for start up companies. C-B4 will be invited to the
SmartCamp world final to square off against other 2011 SmartCamp winner for the title of "IBM Global Entrepreneur the Year".
C-B4 was selected by the panel of judges out of 5 companies that took part in the final of the local IBM
competition, held at IBM House in Petah Tikva.

finalists represent a new generation of entrepreneurs whose technology and business models capitalize
on the growing opportunity for businesses in a Smarter Planet.
C-B4 is developing a system for identifying and analyzing hidden data patterns in large scale data warehouses.
The system is particularly suited to the retail trade and customer relations management (CRM).
C-B4 is a private company which was founded in 2008 and is based in Herzliyah. The company employs 9 personnel
and the CEO is Prof. Irad Ben-Gal.
Wave Guard wins Peoples Vote Award
Congratulations also goes to Wave Guard, who won the IBM
Smartcamp Israel peoples favorite Start-up award. Wave Guard Technologies offers governments and municipalities
effective and affordable solution for monitoring and controlling cellular radiation, based on analysis of raw
data continuously in all existing cellular networks for cellular antennas.

Over 70 startup companies from a wide range of
development fields and business models took part in Tel-Aviv SmartCamp competition. The competition was open to
companies which have been in existence for less than five years, are privately owned and had a turnover of less
than $1 million last year.
The competition’s panel of judges included: chairman of BGN Technologies Gil Weiser, Gartner East Mediterranean
President Baruch Gindin, Capital Point Group Chairman Dr. Yehoshua Glitman, Dr. Esther Luzzatto – senior
partner in the Luzzatto & Luzzatto patent company, and IBM Vice President Dr. Mickey Rodeh.
