Recap of ISBG in Oslo

I had the pleasure of attending ISBG for the first time last month and I'm so glad I went. Although it's a small community, you can tell that they are passionate about sharing their knowledge and expertise, I was a little worried about attending an event where many of the sessions would be in Norwegian, but I had nothing to fear, there were many English speaking sessions there, and it seems that everyone in Norway speaks English. After a couple of days, I could actually understand quite a bit!
The team who put together the ISBG event were super fun and made sure everyone felt welcome and included, so I want to personally thank the entire ISBG team for a job well done!
Hogne, Vanessa, Roger, and Wencke, you guys are all amazing. The energy and dedication you infused into the event was evident. THANK YOU!

The new ISBG Chairman, and first time IBM Champion, Hogne Bø Pettersen, wrote a blog post that summarizes the event nicely, so I'll just point to that because it echos my own thoughts. It also contains links to the presentations.
Here's Hogne's photo album with highlights from the event on Flickr: http
Hogne just happens to be our featured champion in the ICS Community for July. Coincidence? I think not!
