IBM Interconnect and Amplify - How was it??
abauman 060001EXX2 Visits (3916)
I had the great pleasure to attend IBM Interconnect and host an impressive number of my ICS Champions and Analytics Champions. IBM Interconnect is mainly focused on Cloud, Cognitive, and Watson all of which are relevant in the ICS space. The conference had something for everyone, from the expo floor showcasing some familiar and new names, to the sessions, hundreds of sessions, from technical to line of business to conceptual, plus a keynote speech from Ginni Rometty. I didn't get to attend many sessions, but in talking to the attendees from our ICS Community who did, it sounds like there was much to be learned, and some valuable take-aways!
I got to spend some quality time with a number of my ICS community members, plus facilitate some interactions between community members from other parts of IBM's portfolio. To me, as a community manager, this was one of my favourite things to see! You could see the energy and enthusiasm in each interaction, some "light bulb" moments when a concept or idea clicked for someone. This was probably the first event I've attended where I've seen this cross-brand interaction, and I'd like to see more of it!
I could wax poetic all day about my experience, but instead, I'd like to invite you to join me to listen to the perspectives of some ICS community members first-hand!
April 20th topic
IBM Interconnect & Amplify - an ICS Attendee Perspective
We will have a panel of ICS IBM Champions who attended IBM Interconnect and Amplify talk about their impressions from the conference. From sessions they attended and why, and what they got out of them, to the expo floor, to the keynotes, to special events. They'll also answer your questions about the event. If you'd like to get your questions in early, ask your question in this super quick survey. I may not be able to ask all of them, but I will try to pick some of the recurring themes out to ask!
