Abstract

Technology Preview Code for Tracked Resource Set interfaces in Registry Services

Body

Jazz for Service Management Fix Pack 3 - Milestone 2 driver has just been announced and with it comes the Technology Preview Code of Tracked Resource Set (TRS) interfaces in Registry Services.

The Tracked Resource Set specification allows a server to expose a set of resources and to track changes (creations, deletions and modifications) to the set of resources. Registry Services change log functionality is an implementation of the Tracked Resource Set specification that allows client applications to track creations, modifications and deletions of Service Providers, Registration Records and Resource Records. The data is exposed in a way to optimize population of a linked data index and better support for SPARQL queries by using the indexed data.

We created a short video that provides an overview of the change log functionality in Registry Services and the benefits that this functionality can provide.
