Server Dashboards show percentages as 100% instead of 1%

With Jazz for Service Management, there can be cases where the Server Dashboards have tables showing values of 100%, while values of 1% are being expected:

 

This happens when JazzSM is using the ITM data provider, up to ITM 6.3 FP5.

There are some known APARs in this area, IV75571 and IV80202, both fixed with ITM 6.3 FP7. After applying FP7, this problem should be gone.

If the problem is still there after FP7, then the ITMREST data provider will have to be re-registered.

You can use this procedure to re-register the ITMREST data provider in the Tivoli Enterprise Portal Server:

1) Logon as root to the machine where the TEPS is installed.
                                                            
2) Shutdown the TEPS:                                       
   <itm_install_dir>/bin/itmcmd agent stop cq               
                                                            
3) Change current working directory to the following:       
   <itm_install_dir>/<arch>/iw/profiles/ITMProfile/bin                 
                                                                        
4) Issue the following command to clear the TEPS/e OSGi cache:          
   ./osgiCfgInit.sh                                                     
                                                                        
5) Restart the TEPS:                                                    
   <itm_install_dir>/bin/itmcmd agent start cq                          
                                                                        
6) Run the deployment script to re-deploy the data provider:            
./wsadmin.sh -f <itm_install_dir>/<arch>/cq/lib/earinstall.jacl  ITMREST <itm_install_dir>/<arch>/cq/lib/ITMREST.ear                            

7) Recycle the TEPS:                                            
   <itm_install_dir>/bin/itmcmd agent stop cq                   
   <itm_install_dir>/bin/itmcmd agent start cq                  
                                                                
8) Open the Server Dashboards in JazzSM again to verify whether the problem is gone.
