How to load balance and provide high availability with JazzSM Dashboard Connections

This paper is a step-by-step solution guide to enable load balancing and high availability connections for the Jazz for Service Management (JazzSM) Dashboard component to the Netcool/Impact data provider cluster. Netcool/Impact 7.1 and higher provide out of the box solution capabilities by exposing Netcool/Impact data types and policy variables (user output parameters) through its user interface (UI) data provider to visualize its data through dashboard widgets. By using an IBM HTTP server to round robin HTTP(S) connections, we can improve performance and guarantee availability, scaling horizontally by increasing Netcool/Impact GUI servers and backend servers.
